Of course, I recognized it right away....the Finns--that is the pre-Christian Finns-- also believed the Milky Way was the Path of Souls. In Finnish it is called Linnunrata -- the track of the birds. I just wrote and set off to a journal a poem about an injured bluejay that came to my yard.
