Last week I was enjoying my running because after 7 months I had reached my goal.
Way back in March I realized I need to be more active to fight off the threat of diabetes. It's prevalent in my family and I had several risk factors not in my favor!
The goal I had set for myself in the summer time was to run 3 miles in 30 minutes 3 times a week. A modest goal for sure. Now with the winter months approaching, staying active and motivated will be a biggest challenge. I will not be running outside in freezing weather (We have a treadmill!)
So there will be modest goals until the spring arrives and I can run outside again. I will strive to maintain my 3 miles 3 times a week in under 30 minutes with some slight adjustments. I will gradually try to increase my distance by 10% by March! Wish me luck!
